In the midst of a pandemic that is still engulfing Indonesia, PT Biro Klasifikasi Indonesia (Persero) won the "Best TJSL 2021 with Outsanding Program In Local Community Basic Needs Support category "Manufacturing Industry" at the Indonesia Best TJSL Awards 2021 which was held online by Warta Ekonomi Research and Consulting on Thursday ( 23/09). The Indonesia Best TJSL Awards 2021 event organized by Warta Ekonomi this year took the theme Shaping Responsible Businesses Towards Sustainable Development with the hope that state-owned companies in various existing sectors could continue to improve the implementation of corporate social responsibility programs. Warta Ekonomi Research and Consulting in determining the winner in this event has conducted studies related to social and environmental responsibility activities in state-owned companies with various challenges and increasingly modern adaptation methods to face the new era of the Indonesian economy. In this empowerment program, PT Biro Klasifikasi Indonesia (Persero) won an award for the realization of the environmental development program with the largest distribution in the field of providing basic community needs and PT Biro Klasifikasi Indonesia (Persero) also provided assistance for Covid-19 in the form of personal protective equipment, disinfectant liquid, disinfectant spray and flood victims. Head of the Corporate Secretary Division of PT Biro Klasifikasi Indonesia (Persero) Herry Sudrajat stated that this award BKI will further enhance our support to the government through the implementation of government programs. “Based on the pillars that we share together, the first is the social, economic, environmental, legal, and governance pillars. With this, BKI will further enhance collaboration with Sucofindo and Surveyor Indonesia to improve this CSR program in the future,” said Herry Sudrajat as head of the PT BKI division.
