PT. Biro Klasifikasi Indonesia (Persero) remains committed to maintain our services while prioritizing health and safety factors of all our employees and customers. BKI has proactively increased various efforts related to awareness, prevention and protection measures related to COVID-19.

Believe that our main goal is to maintain health and safety of all our customers and employees and to keep provide our services with the highest standards.

In line with the Ministry of Health and the authorities in which we operate, here are the efforts we have made:

  1. Actively monitor the progress of COVID-19 and follow the direction of the Government of the Republic of Indonesia towards the steps taken;

  2. Minimizing meetings and face-to-face activities, both between employees and customers, for instance:

    1. Prioritizing remote mechanism service / remote mode (both for submitting survey requests that can be

      downloaded at http://bit.ly/2QmHnHu , as well as other services)

    2. Minimizing meetings and face to face interactions by encouraging correspondence via phone, chat

      (such as WhatsApp, Line, etc.), or e-mail;

    3. Committed on organizing training that have been scheduled by BKI Academy, and whenever possible

      we will substitute it by online or online arrangements;

    4. Minimizing any meetings in large numbers of participants, and as far as possible substitute meetings by

      making video conference calls;

  3. Regarding our services in regions and countries prone to COVID-19 outbreaks, we will seek urgent requests

    related to inspection surveys by collaborating with our partners in those locations. If the situation does not allow it, we will proactively contact customers to provide and seek alternatives to carry out surveys or inspections while still observing the rules and conditions that apply;

  4. By continuing to prioritize services, we minimize the number of employees working in offices, and some others do KDR (Work From Home);

  5. To protect our visitors and employees who are in the BKI office with:

    1. Providing hand sanitizers at every significant corner in the BKI Office;

    2. Conducting body temperature check on everyone who will enter BKI facilities;

    3. Sterilizing by spraying disinfectants in the BKI Office environment;

  6. To increase awareness by updating information on prevention of COVID-19 transmission across all BKI social media, playing videos related to COVD-19 information at BKI's internal events, and installing posters and banners with COVID-19 information.
