Jakarta, July 30, 2026 – PT Biro Klasifikasi Indonesia (Persero), or BKI, received an award at the Transportasi Indonesia Award 2026 ceremony held at the Binakarna Auditorium in Jakarta. The award recognises BKI’s contribution to strengthening maritime transport safety through its classification, certification, and compliance assurance services.

The award was presented to BKI’s Director of Classification Business Operations, Arief Budi Permana. BKI received the “Leading Classification and Certification Institution for Maritime Safety” award in recognition of its commitment to advancing Indonesia’s transportation sector and promoting higher standards of maritime safety.
