Batam, September 19, 2026 – PT Biro Klasifikasi Indonesia (Persero), or BKI, participated in a community service programme organised by lecturers from the Faculty of Administrative Sciences at Universitas Indonesia (FIA UI) in collaboration with PT Pegaunihan Technology Indonesia in Batam, Riau Islands. Held under the theme “Well-Being and Performance at Work: Enhancing Employee Well-Being to Support Individual and Corporate Performance,” the programme brought together around 50 employees from various divisions of PT Pegaunihan Technology Indonesia to explore the relationship between employee well-being and workplace performance.

As part of the programme, BKI Vice President of Human Capital Abdur Rahman delivered a session titled “Financial Wellbeing, Healthy Finance, Better Focus at Work.” The session examined how personal financial management can affect employee well-being and help individuals maintain focus in carrying out their responsibilities at work.

The programme also included discussions and question-and-answer sessions, personal action planning, and an evaluation. These activities encouraged participants to connect concepts such as employee engagement, work-life balance, and financial well-being with practical approaches that can be applied in their daily lives and workplace.

Abdur Rahman highlighted the importance of combining an understanding of personal finances with healthy habits that help employees manage priorities and maintain balance in their daily lives.

“Financial well-being is not merely about managing income and expenses; it is also about building healthy financial habits that allow individuals to carry out their activities and responsibilities with greater composure and focus,” said Rahman.

The programme provided a platform for collaboration between academia and industry, connecting academic knowledge with practical workplace needs. Through the involvement of BKI, FIA UI, and PT Pegaunihan Technology Indonesia, the initiative also contributed to knowledge sharing on human capital development, with a focus on employee well-being, productivity, and sustainable workplace practices.
