The audit covers ASDP’s Kupang, Ternate, and Ambon branches and marks the beginning of a certification process carried out under BKI’s authority as an accredited SMK3 Audit Institution, as designated by the Decree of the Minister of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia.

The event was attended by BKI President Director R. Benny Susanto and members of the company’s management team, alongside ASDP Deputy President Director Yossianis Marciano and ASDP management representatives.

The initiative aligns with the 2026 National Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Month theme, “Building a Professional, Reliable, and Collaborative National OSH Management Ecosystem.” Through the audit process, ASDP reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening occupational safety and health practices across its operations, while BKI continues to support the implementation of national workplace safety standards through independent audit and certification services.

In his remarks, Benny emphasized that SMK3 implementation extends beyond regulatory compliance and serves as a foundation for building a safe, healthy, and productive workplace culture.

"ASDP’s commitment to implementing SMK3 across its Kupang, Ternate, and Ambon branches demonstrates not only compliance with regulations, but also a strong commitment to fostering a safe, healthy, and productive working environment," he said.

The kick-off meeting reflects the ongoing collaboration between BKI and ASDP in promoting robust occupational safety and health practices, particularly within regional operational units. Through the SMK3 certification process, both organizations aim to strengthen workplace safety performance and support the development of sustainable operational standards across the maritime transportation sector.
