Jakarta, February 3, 2026 — PT Biro Klasifikasi Indonesia (Persero) (BKI) officially inaugurated its Jakarta Main Commercial Branch at a ceremony held on the fifth floor of its Head Office. The establishment of the new branch forms part of the company’s strategy to sharpen organizational focus and enhance the effectiveness of its business operations.
The inauguration was attended by BKI Director of Commercial Business Operations Erwin Ernanto Hoesni and Head of the Jakarta Main Commercial Branch Budiman Johansyah.
In his remarks, Erwin Ernanto Hoesni explained that the new branch is designed to clarify functional roles within the organization. Under this structure, commercial operations are centralized at the Jakarta Branch, while business development is managed through the Center of Excellence (CoE), particularly in the energy, transportation, and logistics sectors. This approach is expected to improve operational efficiency and support more focused and sustainable innovation.
Through the establishment of the Jakarta Main Commercial Branch, BKI strengthens its commercial presence in the capital while reinforcing the strategic role of the CoE in service development. The separation of functions is intended to drive higher performance, greater efficiency, and improved service quality.
Looking ahead, the Jakarta Branch is expected to expand its service portfolio, strengthen inter-unit collaboration, and enhance responsiveness to market dynamics. Improved work facilities are also expected to foster a comfortable and productive working environment that encourages teamwork and innovation.
BKI aims for the Jakarta Main Commercial Branch to serve as a benchmark for other commercial branches in terms of performance, governance, and corporate culture, supporting the company’s long-term and sustainable growth.
