BKI was represented by President Director, Rudiyanto (ACS Chairman) and Corporate Communication,-Sjaifuddin Thahir (ACS TMG Chairman)  ​​confirms that ACS members as a organisation only has a capacity of classification society and as an organization recognized by the government, always provide support to members of ASF related to safety ships, and special precautions to be taken by ASF in facing the piracy discussed in the ASF-24.

ASF noted the concern with the increasing number of reports on the use of fuel in Asian waters. ASF expressed the concern that some reports about the excessive severity of incidence in Asian waters. ASF appreciate the work done by regional countries of Asia and inter-governmental bodies such as the Regional Cooperation Agreement on Combating Piracy and Armed Robbery against Ships in Asia by the Center for Information Sharing - Regional Cooperation Agreement on Combating Piracy & Armed Robbery against Ships in Asia Information Sharing Centre (ReCAAP ISC) in the fight against maritime crime threat in Asia. In this case, ASF appreciate that the report is timely and accurate, and very helpful for the cruise industry.

ASF recognizes the exemplary efforts of ReCAAP ISC, and Interpol which has now been integrated into the regional anti-piracy team. ASF is still concerned about the number of incidents of piracy and armed robbery, ASF urge some countries to do more to address the incident that occurred in the territorial waters,

So, ACS through BKI confirms that ACS member in his capacity as classification society and organizations that are recognized by the government, is ready to provide technical support to members of the ASF relating to the safety of the ship, and special precautions to be taken by the ASF in the fight against piracy.
